Elisha Ann Cuthbert was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, on November 30, 1982. Along with her two younger siblings, Jonathan and Lee-Ann, she relocated to Vancouver with her parents, Kevin and Patricia.
Elisha Cuthbert believes in never giving up, which is just the attitude that has taken her this far. Her outlook is refreshing, especially since she didn't have to rely on (only) her looks to make it in the entertainment industry.
Nicknamed "Heesh" since her days on Popular Mechanics for Kids, this gentle and unpretentious Canadian beauty has basically become an Internet goddess, with fan sites constantly popping up left, right and center.

This blonde magnificence plays the damsel in distress better than anyone from her generation. She also deserves credit for being able to actually act, as opposed to simply looking scared. Oh how we'd love to be stuck in the woods with this babe...

After being a host on Popular Mechanics for Kids for three years, Cuthbert made a series of Canadian family films. But worldwide recognition came when she landed the role of Kim Bauer on FOX's frantic action series, 24. She has also appeared in Old School and Love Actually (both in 2003), and stars as The Girl Next Door (2004).
